Wednesday, April 11th, 2012Congratulations to the Phil Jones Band for being selected as a Rock/Alternative finalist by the Great American Song Song Contest! The Phil Jones Band song, The Perfect Wave went through three rounds of judging by some heavyweights in the recording industry with credentials from the Berklee College of Music, Rhino Records, EMI Publishing and Grammy nominated songwriters. Judges based their criteria on engaging lyrics, creative use of language, memorable melodies and songwriting technique. Right on, Phil Jones Band and hana hou!
